When it comes to uplifting the condo space, our interior re-modelling and creative design expertise go a long way. Vintage and modern materials come together in a strikingly beautiful suite renovation inside the iconic Merchandise Building in the heart of Toronto’s Church-Wellesley Village.

The Foyer

An elegant entryway sets the tone for the rest of the loft-style suite with our foyer feature wall. To create the decorative wall moulding, we cut individual strips of wood into two-dimensional geometrical shapes, which we spray painted for a smooth finish. We also encased the foyer entry closet in a Walnut Cleaf courtesy of Weston Premium Woods to complete the look and added a brushed brass lighting fixture from Wady.

Multifunctional Living Space

Soaring ceilings, large windows, polished concrete floors, and an airy warehouse-style space provide the perfect backdrop for open-concept living. We built a waterfall countertop, backsplash, and coffee bar in a mitered and polished Caesarstone Statuario Maximus to define the kitchen zone. It creates a distinct contrast with the matt black Egger kitchen upper cabinets and electric glass cooktop. The living room seamlessly flows into the kitchen and has a feature wall of Chevron pattern laminate designed by Finsa and built-in storage units that function well for working and spending time with family.

Bedroom

Glass panes frame the bedroom within a custom built-in frame that we made onsite. This allows natural light to brighten up the space while maintaining an open feel. Dual sliding doors with frosted glass create a sense of separation between the bedroom and closet—convenient for getting ready in the morning.

Office

Continued into the office, the glass panels create a clean, consistent look for our dedicated workspace. The result is a room where productivity can thrive. Open shelf cabinets make use of the vertical space, and the owner’s existing doors are refashioned onto a soft sliding track to ensure quiet and gentle closing every time.

Bathroom

We reimagined the bathroom into a luxurious place to recharge and destress after a long day. The floating vanity is designed in a mitered and polished Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo adorned with decorative sink traps and a wall-mounted fixture faucet.

Laundry Room

Nuanced textures and colours collide to create a functional and organized laundry room.

A leather-finished backsplash coincides with Beech coloured upper cabinetry and a brushed stainless steel overmount sink. We also put in some clever design elements to make room for a stackable graphite steel washer and dryer.
